Admin and Event Management

Cameron Soto has worked at Portland Festival Ballet since April, 2011. He is studying business and accounting at Portland Community College and will transfer to Portland State University after completing his ASOT-Business. He graduated from Beaverton High School with class of 2013, after being out of school for two years due to housing circumstances and rough times. He has been Portland Festival’s Ballet helping hand in all the productions since April, 2011 and has processed the tickets and seating for four shows. He is now doing Business Administration and Event Management for PFB. Being 19 years old, he has office management experience, and has supervised partners of Portland Festival Ballet.

Cameron could have never seen himself working for a ballet company doing office work, and now he enjoys being a part of a non-profit and can’t see the benefit of being a part of a for-profit business. He has been a major part of two ReachOut camps, which is Portland Festival Ballet’s community program which benefits under privileged youth embrace the joy of dance. His dream goal is to be a CPA with a firm specializing in Non-Profit. He could not be more honored for the chance has he been given, and earned at Portland Festival Ballet.
